Your Mommy Kills Animals received a lot of press attention, especially after Variety gave it a stellar review. Suddenly the little film that should became the film that could and did. Your Mommy Kills Animals wound up playing all over the world and was including in such prestigious film festivals as Hot Docs in Toronto, Melbourne International Film Festival along with the San Francisco Indie Film Festival (where Curt Johnson also had another film he served as a producer on play “Thoth” which went on to win the 2002 Academy Award.
